My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

Incorrect file permissions can block WordPress from creating folders, upload images, or run some scripts

WordPress needs permissions to manage files and create folders on the server.

  • After that select all folders in root directory and then right click to select ‘File Permissions’.
  • wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> click on checkbox read and write >> Click on the OK button to continue
  • same process repeated for wp-content folder

Installation

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For information regarding to install the WordPress platform, please see the WordPress Codex  https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

Step One : Installation Via WordPress Admin area

  • Step 1 - Log into your WordPress admin area.
  • Step 2 - Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes.

Step Two : Installation Using FTP

  • Step 1 - Download the-writers-blog -pro.zip file from your My Account ThemesEye.
  • Step 2 - Extract Zip file.
  • Step 3 - Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the "/wp-content/themes/" folder on your server.
  • Step 4 - Go to Dashboard » Appearance » Themes and find The Writers Blog Pro theme from list

Plugin Installation

  • Install Required Plugins:
  • Contact form 7 plugin and WooCommerce ,if you want WooCommerce then you can activate WooCommerce plugin.
  • Go to Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> Upload plugin.

Before click on "Run Importer" first you need to install all requried plugin like contact-form-7 plugin.

Click on "Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer".

Color/Font is very easy process. We have given these options in all sections of customizer. It is a complete image to show you about color and font pallete. At a single glance of click you can set the color and fonts of the Headings, Paragraph and Buttons

Every individual section have an option to set the color pallete for Headings, Title/Text, Paragraph, Button Text and Button Background depending upon the number of option that are available in that respective section.

Setup Home Page Template

This section will help you to arrange home page and other pages of your site. This will also guide to you as how to setup WordPress Menus, Create a Slider/Banner, Create Home Page, Use of Page Templates and insertion of shortcode in pages.

  • Step 1 - Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New, enter page name and select template as Home Page Template from Page Attribute as shown in below image

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section

Section reordering basically means to arranage the section as per our requirement. in order to proceed with this section you need to drag section on top or bottom where you need it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

For Section Re-ordering,you just need to simply drag-and-drop options into any order as per your wish .

    In order to proceed with Section Ordering.

  • Step 1 - Go to Appearance >> Customizing >> Theme Settings >>Section Ordering

Header Setting

  • Step 1 - Go to Dashboard >> >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Site Identity
  • a. You can add logo from Select Logo button for set logo

  • Step 2 Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> add new page with addition of image if you want to add and allot the page to that section. You can do this several times for creating multiple pages to allot in same section.

  • Step 5 - Enter menu name and click on Create Menu as shown in below image.
