Hello! I need to add some custom html elements and shortcode to the homepage. However, I don’t see a place anywhere in the theme customizer to do this nor does adding anything to the Home page change anything. The website I’m working on is http://lmsa.dreamhosters.com/ Thanks!

I’d like to add the following to the homepage:

1. Shortcode from the Events Calendar plugin to show the upcoming events from the calendar
2. Shortcode from a plugin to show photos from an Instagram account
3. Some custom sections where I use my own html. A client I’m working with might want something that is not part of your template on the homepage.

I’m not sure why you guys don’t have a place where we can insert our own custom html or shortcode on the homepage. Having such a feature would greatly enhance the usability of the theme.
